Some basic steps for getting started with your Megasquirt

1. Buy or build your Megasquirt!

2. Setup your vehicle wiring loom ensuring it is fused.

3. Install the tuning software and log analyser

-Current tuning softwares are TunerStudio (setup page), Megatune or Megatunix

-The current log analyser software is Megalogviewer

4. Connect your Megasquirt to a 12V fused supply either in the car/bike/etc. or on the bench.

5. Get serial communications setup (setup page)

6. Setup sensor calibrations to match hardware. (TPS, O2 sensor, temp sensors.)

7. Start tuning. Note! Never start creating a tune "from blank" always use a base tune or start connected to your Megasquirt.
