There are two ways that this table can operate depending on the setting "Table is Advance/Retard"

When using the recommended setting of "Retard", 0 degrees means to leave the exhaust cam in its rest position
of fully advanced. Positive numbers then retard the cam.

When using the compatability setting of "Advance", the table works backwards. 0 degrees means fully retarded 
and your maximum number will command the rest position of fully advanced.

13.19 VVT On/Off Curve

The VVT On/Off Curve menu option is only enabled if:

VVT is enabled

•

AND "On/Off" mode is enabled

Clicking Boost/VVT > VVT On/Off Curve displays the following screen:

 

When RPM is between the minimum and maximum RPMs and the load is above the specified number at that 
RPM point in the curve the VVT output will be enabled, otherwise the output is disabled. ('load' is 'Engine load' 
e.g. MAP, TPS etc. depending on your chosen fuel algorithm.)

Examples using data shown above:

At 2300 RPM (any load) -> VVT is off

At 3000 RPM and load is 40kPa -> VVT is off

At 3000 RPM and load is 50kPa -> VVT is on

At 7000RPM and load is 85kPa -> VVT is off

At 7000RPM and load is 95kPa -> VVT is on

At 7100RPM (any load) -> VVT is off
