Re: Suzuki sierra and Swift gti engine

This sounds easy enough; a MicroSquirt, MAP sensor, wideband O2 package, and USB adapter would typically be what you'd need. Maybe an IAT sensor too.

Please post a copy of your tune file and also how you've configured your board for RPM input.

Re: Can someone check my tune/datalog?

Batch fire engines typically like to idle better a little rich. I'd try more warm-up enrichment.

Re: Engine cut out.

Try setting SD card logging to always on; that way at least when it happens you're bound to have a log of it.

Correct, "Incorporate AFR Table" is independent of EGO correction, other than that both use the same table.

Re: LS 24x Odd/no Cam data in composite logger.

You'll need to enable sequential fuel or COP for the ECU to look at the cam sensor.

Is timing correct when checked with a timing light?

If you unplug the injectors, will it start on starting fluid?

MAP reads a little bit high; check sensor and calibration.

I'd make sure there isn't any leaks in the exhaust then.

Yes, what you're describing will work fine.

Re: Need for vr/optical decoders

I'd run it through the regular VR conditioner unless it's being used for something else. Sure, it's a bit more filtering than your average Hall or optical sensor needs; you could use a simpler filter (and many cam input mods do just that).

Yes, HEI uses a 5 volt trigger to control the timing.

Re: Nissan cas/ distributor

Yes, for basic trigger. The MS3 doesn't currently support this one's slot length for sequential triggering or coil on plug. You can swap it for the DIYAutoTune CAS disc if you want that.

Re: MS3 no start

That is a special purpose log for diagnosing your crank sensor. It shows your crank sensor is working. There isn't any other sort of data in there, so all it does is rule out the crank sensor. It would help if you also post your tune and a conventional data log.

Re: FUELING ISSUES

Autotune won't work for startup; you'll need to navigate this by feel. For a TBI single injector, you may need to use a current limiting resistor so the injector itself doesn't overheat; are you running one? If so I would just try pulling fuel out of the VE table until it starts.

Toyota DLI multiplexing was very rare - the only examples I'm aware of were the JDM 4A-GZE and the 7M-GTE.

Did you add the jumper wire to the AFM connection to get fuel pump control? It's not just the switch; you have to make a few wiring changes.

The limitation is 720 degrees total injector timing (start minus end), not specifically 720 degrees BTDC. Your examples won't cause any issues.

Re: MicroSquirt ignition on 1988 RX7

It is possible the injector drivers were going into current limiting. Hopefully nothing is damaged. I also noticed your TPS is going a bit haywire. IIRC, these seem to have two TPSs, one for full range (that's the one you want) and one for 0-20% throttle or so (leave that alone). Please check your T...
