@jean, 32 bit version is working without problemen. Thanks

Re: Low impedance lpg injector

You can use Ohm's Law to calculate the current, but if you are not using an oscilloscope, you will also need to take duty cycle into account. Hi Matt, I am using a scope. See picture IMG_20160908_195954.jpg . The Blue line is from 3 injectors parallel 1.9 ohm. Approx 350 mv , results into 7 amps. S...

Low impedance lpg injector

To check the actual amperage for each bank I am measuring the Voltage over R37 and R 38. Is that a valid way to define the current? In the 3.57 Board is mounted for Q1 and 2 FQPF30N06 are these Protectors for a over current? I am also using PWM for the injector control. Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 10...

Re: Synchronised absolute time in Data and Tooth log

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your reply
Is there a manual how to create markers in the log files.
This will be a function in TunerStudio I suppose.

Synchronised absolute time in Data and Tooth log

At the moment I try to solve a sync error code 2. This error pops up in the data log file "Sync error reason". During a data log I am also creating a tooth log-file (log-files at the same time). What I have noticed is the time stamp is not the same in de logfiles. Is there a way to synchro...

Re: Issue on single dizzy odd fire engines (patch included)

Hello James,

I understand this issue will put on your todo list.
When do think this solution will be integrated in a release?
I am interessed in this fix, because I have an odd-fire engine.

Re: DIYPNP : table switching with external switch

With release 2.1 MS2 extra I could select "hardware" for the table switching function.
With release 3.1 MS2 I can only select remote port wit a bit number. Is this function only available for the CAN-bus.

Re: V6 odd-fire ignition

Herwith the MSQ and the comm.log.
When I reduce the rpm to 0 there is not a communication error and I can change the temp etc with the simulator. After increasing the rpm --> communication gone.

Re: V6 odd-fire ignition

Hello James, I am nog 100% sure. But I suppose when I have downloaded the firmware I have the deafult setup, which should be not a problem. The only two parameters which I have changed (no import) are the amount of cyl (8-->6) and the Even --> Odd. I have tried to activate the miniterm and switch of...

I have tested the same configuration as Karl did. Odd fire V6 engine (Citroen SM) with the stock 20090327 beta of ms2/extra 2.1.0. The only difference that I am using the basic trigger instead of the 36-1. After a second the communication is gone. The communication will start agian after a cold down...

James, I have noticed a short paragraph http://www.msextra.com/ms2extra/MS2-Extra_Ignition.htm#oddfire There is mentioned a "single trigger". With this trigger is meant "odd-fire" trigger wheel on the cam-shaft or ..... Does that means a second trigger on the crank-shaft has no u...

Re: V6 odd-fire ignition

James, Can you help me to find out which configuration is working for fuel and ignition for MS2-extra (already bought). Is it possible to adapt the code so it is working for odd-fire? Re: V6 odd-fire ignition

Will there be a performance difference if you are using a trigger with dizzy or the 36-1 (when it is working).
With others words, is it usefull to check your remark "probably"?
