this was the map you gave me i have just played around with it a bit a s differ fuel etc

yeh i am using the std iacv woops

first time i go to fire the car it takes about 2 mins to get the thing going .... smell fuel too

ms2 v3 running wasted spk
vw 2l 16v abf engine

this happened to me yesterday

had nothing fuel pump would prime but no rpm or spk etc

uploaded new firmware - re flashed ecu as guide and all works great

look at the latest firmware 3.1.0 iirc and load that then load your map etc

Ms2 v3 running vw 2.0 60-2 with vr pick up ford coil pack

hi just finshing off a abf in a golf running great just finshed tuning and am very happy with it all

BUT

when i go to start the car it takes a good few cylcles before it fires ? when its hot its fine


do i just adjust cranking pw ? if so will this alter my ve table at all ?

i am using 2.1.0 d the latest as just reflashed it this week . ms2 v3

hey guys i had a hard cut rev limit on my last ms2 on my escort and it sounded like a rally car when hits the limit like gun shots flames and bangs



now i have set up my vw g olf just tuned afrs etc and went to set to hard cut ...and it seems laim like its the soft cut ? any ideas

will it still comunicate in boot mode as it wont comunicate with the ms at all it says that its off line?

after james advised me that the vr wires were wrong way i corrected that and it fired up straight away ....i blipt the throttle and it reved great as the revs returned they went too low the car cut out BUT the fuel pump stayed on constant and the middle led is always on ? every time i turn on the ig...

nice one james ...thanks it was just too simple thats why i asked again

i will try the vr wiring .... anything else to check while i am there ..... i also re-calibrated tps as thats showing -2 on closed

can you think of anything else

was there a problem at all with 2.1.0p?

is that it that simple ?


i do that every time i turn off the battery isolator swith ....is this it re booted ?

ok should i just flash the newest firmwere at the same time ?

is this how i reboot ?

i know the jumper is on the board just unsure how to go about rebooting ?

james also i was changing from 36-1ford setup to 60-2 vw do i need to re boot the ms ?

hey guys i am using ms2v3 extra 2.1.0p car is a vw abf std 60-2 wheel using a vr pick up from a vr6 the car tries to fire but wont run ...i suspect it to the trigger pattern the rpm fluctuates between 0 -350 rpm on cranking i remember someone else had this and resolved by updating firmwere but not s...

would you not be quicker just buying a trigger wheel ?36-1 come in all differ sizes to suit your application
