Re: MS1 V2.2 RPM spike in boost
the problem was solved.
in the end we replaced the new spark plug wires with some old ones and now the car runs perfect.
it seems that the new beru spark plug wires were faulty (we changed 2 sets and with both the engine behaved badly on hard accelerations).
thanks all for the support!

Re: MS1 V2.2 RPM spike in boost
Hello,
Sorry for the delay, here are the latest data logs: Meanwhile we've changed the MS unit with another one (MS1 v2.2), we changed processors and firmware but the spike is still present, and now I can see a reset.
Best regards.

The Android software for serial to usb adapter will detect it once plugged into the tablet, and I can send and receive data from megasquirt, but MSDroi...

Re: new to megasquirt bmw m50
you'll need external igniters to work with the BMW coils, or you could purchase a VR6 coilpack which has an internal igniter, and control it with the logic level drivers.

from what I know, Autotune will work even if the EGO is turned on and it will compensate.

Re: Megasquirt 1 v2.2 and general circuit breaker issues
solved!
issue was because of separate switches for fuel pumps and injectors. now msq is controlling a relay that powers on the injectors, the coilpack and the fuel pumps.
Thanks.

I'll have a look into that, but as far as I know the fuel pump also has a separate switch.

Re: Launch control and Boost control active during cranking
launch control is armed when you press the pedal..but it does not engage if the conditions for launch aren't met.
can you please take a screenshot with the launch control settings?

Re: MS2/Extra pre-3.3 beta 13 released
never tried 3.2.5, i'm back to 3.1.1 car revs to 7500 rpms without problems.
I'll post some logfiles and msq with the old tune (afr was not logged then because of my faulty lc-1 unit), on the old tune i was driving the coil via bosch 139 ignition module, i had missfires from 5200rpm to 6000rpm.
