Mark the Log

Post by jagdude »

Hi,
This is a question that spreads across both TS and MVL. Is there a way to be able to 'mark' the log if needed. What I mean is, say you are driving along and the car surges. Is it possible to do something like, for example, hit the space bar on the laptop and have that action visible as a mark when viewing the log in MLV. It would be handy for being able to study the point in a log where something odd happened when viewing the log later.

Thanks,

Jim

Yep.. Do that :)

hitting the space bar will put a mark in the log that MLV will display as a vertical red line in the graph and status bar.

To bump an old thread ...
Is there a way to add marks to the datalog when viewing in megalogviewer. For instance when you find an abnormality and want to get back to it quickly?

Currently no, but that does sound like a good feature, we will look into adding that for a future release!

About the only way I can think of that could happen is if it is an MS1 or MS2 and something has focus that causes a burn to be triggered.
