Feature request: invert filter in scatter plot view

Post by subwoofer »

An idea: There should be an easily accessible way to show alle the data points taken away by a filter. If, say, you find that there is a fuelling problem on warmup since all the trouble spots go away when the "Cold" filter is applied - there should be an equally accessible way to show only the offending data points, effectively inverting the filter.

You can create another filter with a !([filter]) around it, but it wouldn't be a big deal to have the app do it for you without having to make and maintain additional filters.

That would work, but it would be a bit cumbersome. I think a single "Invert selection" á la Photoshop would be a better solution.

Implement at will.

The filter already works backwards to what I was expecting.

I originally expected it to be a filter in (include), but it is currently a filter out (exclude.)
