Customer suggested feature from PRI - time measurement tool
I was talking with someone at PRI who asked if MegaLogViewer could measure the time between two data points. He found an automatic time measuring feature useful for tuning settings that are timed after launch or the like. Is it possible to add some way to do this to MLV?

Good idea, I do that frequently also. Presently I write down the two numbers and work out the difference with a calculator.

CTRL+0 at the starting point will set that point in time to 0.000. Sounds like that should do it. I Use it when analyzing a log in conjunction with a timeslip.

A field I have almost always on is deltaTime
The formula is:
[Time]-[Time-1]
That will give a trace of the time between records, so it is very easy to spot inconsistent log speeds or pauses in the log.

Thanks, I didn't realize that was there.Scottie-GNZ wrote:CTRL+0 at the starting point will set that point in time to 0.000. Sounds like that should do it. I Use it when analyzing a log in conjunction with a timeslip.
