There were no significant changes to 4.0.10 from 4.0.07 except 4.0.07 and 4.0.10 both have a bundled 1.8 JRE, however in 4.0.07 if you opened MLV by double clicking a log file it did not use the bundled JRE, it would use the installed JRE.

We had that 1 other user have a similar trouble when upgrading to 4.0.x with the bundled JRE, they updated there video driver and that fixed it. However, you can also remove the bundled JRE, then it will use the installed JRE which I assume is older.
I think this might be the trouble... I'm thinking there may be a video driver bug triggered with the 1.8 JRE.

To disable the bundled JRE rename or delete the folder "runtime" in the MLV install dir. if there is no runtime folder, then it will usethe installed JRE.

Upgraded because my Java auto updated to 1.8 and the old version of MLV wouldnt load. Now I have a grayed out "analyze" button... But it was working before I updated. So I put in my reg code and that didnt work. Says its for the wrong version.

Do you mean the "VE Analyze" Button? That shouldn't be greyed out in any case.
Are the tables showing?

yep, "VE analyze" is greyed out, tune opens, log opens and plays, and I can save, save as, modify and everything else like normal. Should I uninstall then reinstall?

I stand corrected... It seems without a registration key the VE Analyze button is greyed out.
That is not supposed to be. I will put up an update for that.

Is yours greyed when the reg key is in too?
