Problem installing latest MLVs

Post by Wolf_Tm »

Hi,
every time I try to install the latest MLV versions (4.0.06 and 4.0.07), I always get the following error message during installation:

C:\Programs\EFIAnalytics\MegaLogViewer\MegaLogViewer.exe
An error occureed while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 5.

Any advice?
Thanks

What OS?

Are you running any anti-virus software?

From what I see the common causes of that error when installing applications is either a virus/mal-ware is already on the computer or the anti-virus software it self causes that.

Hi,
Os is XP.
I got checked my PC with #2 antivirus and malware remover, but it was totally clean.
Anyway still getting that error anytime I install it!

Try it with the anti-virus software disabled, the virus software itself can cause that on inno setup files.

Also make sure your downloads came from tunerstudio.com or efianalytics.com, do not use downloads from any other site.
