Problems with Histogram Function in MLV HD

Post by squenz »

I just upgraded to MLV HD to use the new Histogram Function. Unfortunately i ran into a bit of a problem.
I would like to use the RPM vs. MAP vs. (AFR-AFR 1 Target) "Delta" Map.
When logging, tunerstudio records "AFR Target 1" but unfortunately this seems to be set to 14.0 throughout the whole map.
The AFR Target map in Tunerstudio is named AFR Table 1 and therefore it seems won't get recorded. All other functions regarding this map e.g. Autotune / VE Analyzer are working perfect.

How can i solve this issue ? Is there a way to re-name the Map ? Is there a way to edit the AFR Target 1 Map ? I can't find that particular map in Tunerstudio as there is only the "AFR 1 Table" available.

Another issue:
When i click on "view with Megalogviewer" in Tunerstudo, i would like to open it with the new MLV HD. As per now, it will open with the old non HD version. How can i change that ?

I really appreciate your help!

So it has 14.0:1 when your AFR target ! table is not a straight 14:1?
What firmware?
Do you have an msq?

The next major release will find MegaLogViewer HD 1st if there.

For 2.6.x you will need to uninstall MegaLogViewer MS, then in TunerStudio right click on the "View With MegaLogViewer" menu.
You will be prompted to "Rest and Clear MegaLogViewer Location?"
Select Yes.

Then use that to open a log, it will offer to browse to MegaLogViewer.

Browse to :
c:\Program Files\EFIAnalytics\MegaLogViewerHD\MegaLogViewerHD.exe

Then it should open and remember the new location. So you can reinstall MegaLogViewer MS if you want, TS will still open HD.

All looks in order from what I can see. Can you post a data log too.

Is it the field: "AFR Target 1" you are looking at?

While in TunerStudio if you look at an AFR Target Gauge Is that reading a constant 14:1?
It would have too if the log is a steady 14.0:1

Yes, AFR Target 1 is at a static 14.x while "AFR Table 1" is the actual Table for my Target AFR. Like i wrote before, the VE Analyzer and Autotune are working perfectly.
I checked the gauge reading and yes, it is static too. I cant even incorporate "AFR Table 1" to the gauge settings.

Regarding opening Logs with MLV HD - its working now! Thank you!! :)

I think I see the trouble...
In your msq you have EGO Sensor type set to disabled, so the firmware is sending a static value..

Set that back to Wideband, if you want to disable EGO correction, set Controller Auth 2 0.
I generally do not disable EGO Correction.
