I am on Win8 running MLV v4.0.15. My Quick view menu and all the fields on the left of the screen have disappeared and I cannot seem to get them back.
Here is a screenshot, I don't even have the arrows to expand a menu.

Re: Lost the Quick View Button and Fields
Go to View in the main menu and deselect Hiding Field Select. (3rd item from the bottom, in my version) Worked for me anyway.

Re: Lost the Quick View Button and Fields
I wish, I've tried all those options and even restarted after each one. No dice. Thanks though!

Re: Lost the Quick View Button and Fields
That's very interesting! I tried it several times and it worked perfectly! Sorry for the false start. Perhaps it's a version thing.......
I'm sure that one of the gurus will happen by and get me straightened out!

Re: Lost the Quick View Button and Fields
Check under the View menu, see if Quick Trace selection is on.
If Quick Trace Selection is on, then you select your fields by clicking on them below, but in your case it looks like you have the lower displays hidden.
To get those back, either
click the up arrow in the lower right or check the menu item:
View --> Show Dashboard

Re: Lost the Quick View Button and Fields
Ok, this time I restarted my computer after selecting and deselecting quick trace selection. And it worked!
Thank you Phil!
