Avast (program ver 11.1.2245, av def 160131-0) identifies MLV as a virus (Win32:Malware-gen), and instantly sends to the virus chest (removing the .exe).
More of a problem with Avast, but I can't seem to restore the files once they're in the chest (extremely frustrating). Re-installed twice on the latest download (4.1.01), and at the end of the installation, same thing: exe is sent to the virus chest.
I seem to remember seeing something about this happening from time to time (actually, here: http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic ... ilit=avast)
I tried submitting a false positive report (twice), but perhaps you can look into as well (FYI).

That hasn't been as much of a problem since all the installers have been digitally signed....
Were you able to submit the false positive report to Avast? That is usually what it takes to fix it. Then in the next avast definition update it is resolved.

They don't seem to have a way to submit a false positive if you are not a user.

Hi Phil, Roger that. I did submit two false positive reports, and will again on Friday when I'm back from a trip if a new av file hasn't fixed it. Will report back
