so recently ive been using this setting of megalogviewer to try and fine tune my fuel map by setting the x and y axis to match my fuel map and adjusting based on how far off my afrs are in each bin. But I'm not sure if I should be adjusting the cell bin that is showing off or if I should be adjusting the cells just prior to it due to delay in the amount of time for the wideband to react? Or does the histogram function factor in some sort of wideband delay that contributes to what I see in the map? or maybe some advice on a better way to dial in my fuel map?
I am using a innovate lc-2 wideband.

Re: Histogram / Table Generator
Are you plotting the X&Y on a Scatter plot or histogram?
I would be sticking with the cell it is on, as it could have come into the cell from many directions.
If you use VE Analyze, it does what you are doing but takes all this and many other things into account.

Re: Histogram / Table Generator
I'm plotting it on a histogram because I can make the table match my fuel map and see how far off I am in each cell. I was using the VE analyze autotune at first and it got my map close, but now it mostly just ends up overcorrecting and causing spikes. so idk its like going in circles when use it because it keeps making adjustments in my map that don't need it and I have to keep going back and smoothing it and etc. idk if maybe I need to change the settings in it or what. like for example I have my idle tuned to a steady idle right now but everytime I run ve analyze it always wants to change the fuel map at idle to the point where I get bad oascillations. but doing it this way I can make minor adjustments just to the areas that really need it

Re: Histogram / Table Generator
There is nothing wrong with using the histograms to work it by hand.
To make VE Analyze leave your idle cells alone, you can lock those cells.
Select the cells that are tuned the way you want them, right click on them and select "Lock Cells"
Then VE Analyze will leave them be.
