I was running 4.1.01 and when I launched it just now, it asked to update to 4.1.04. I responded yes.
After downloading, instead of quitting Logviewer and restart the app by itself, nothing happened. I then tried to launch it by double clicking the app itself from Application folder, nothing - The OS tried to launch the app (you can see the "flicker" of the screen but then nothing happened. I tried opening a .msl file, again same thing. Restarted the Mac, retried and same thing. I also checked Activity Monitor & didn't see any Logviewer related processes being launched.
I re-downloaded the latest .tar from the download site but it is not a complete package - it doesn't install the app into the Application folder but just the files so I now have to double click the .jar file to launch the app.
Did I do something wrong?

Re: Mac OS 4.1.04 update problem
Are you using the Old MLV OS X App, or the linux version?
I think 4.1.04 is in 1.7 byte code format and OS X forces 1.6 on the old OS X app.

Re: Mac OS 4.1.04 update problem
It was v3.0.4 when I first installed it then it had many updates. It was working fine when it was updated all the way to v4.0.01.
I am running on OS X 10.11 (El Capitan).
Does it mean that I'll have to launch the app as a .jar file from now on?

I just put out a new OS X TunerStudio App this past week, I should have new MLV apps soon.
Until then, yes the jar...
