Datalogs Missing Data

Post by Hahns5.2 »

Hey guys, I'm really getting lost here. For the last couple weeks I've tried to open datalogs taken with my laptop in MLV but I get an error (posted below) and many of the data fields are missing and in their place are all sorts of weird names, like ms1-ms10, ect. If I log directly to my SD card in the MS3 and import them in, those logs work fine. If I take a log that was taken from my laptop that does not open properly in MLV and open it in a program like RaceRender 2, all the data and fields are there. I also have MLV installed on my desktop and it has the same troubles as on my laptop. I have no trouble with either viewing logs downloaded from the forum. I've checked my logging profile in Tunerstudio and everything is enabled. Latest stable releases of TS, MLV, and MS3 Firmware.

Attached is a log that doesn't open properly in MLV but worked fine in RaceRender2.

The error I get.

I tried to open your log and get the same problem.

Looking at the log file text I'm not spotting a problem with it ?!?! A question for Phil T for sure.

Do you have an additional psi field defined in a custom.ini file?
There appears to be a missing header for the last field in the file, but the units are there. Thus it is tricking MLV into using the units as the headers.

So the real question is what is that psi field and how did it get there without any field name?

I recently added a sensor to log backpressure. I guess I started to add a datalog field with the custom channel editor and forgot about it,I deleted it and I'll see if that fixes it.

Thanks Phil!

Hmm, that should be addressed on the Customer Channel Editor, it shouldn't allow the field name to be blank, but it seems it does.
