EGT's in Megalogviewer

Post by Noisy Toys »

I'm at a loss trying to figure out how to set Megalogviewer so that I can see graphs for EGT, oil pressure and fuel pressure. I have the necessary hardware properly setup in TunerStudio but none are options for me in the Megalogviewer drop-down menus for any of the graphs. Anybody want to help out a newbie?

It looks to me like it should indeed be data logging EGT's.

Starting a new Data log in TunerStudio, that log does not have 4 fields: EGT1, EGT2, EGT3, EGT4?

Can you post a short log?

I just figured it out, I think. Not knowing what else to do I setup gauges on a dashboard in TS for the inputs I want to log. Now those inputs are available in MLV but when I record a new datalog and try to download it I get a "timed out" error message.

Two steps forward, one step back. At least it's progress.

Are you looking at regular data logs or SD logs?

That is a different animal.. Then it won't log unless you have the field selected to log..

What sort of a timeout message?

With any file you try to download?

What type of connection are you using?
