MegaLogViewer
Can someone direct me to a user manual or tutorial for MegaLogViewer? I can't seem to find anything useful in the help file or online.

Re: MegaLogViewer
I glanced through that earlier but it is geared to reading the logs. I need information or instruction on how to capture, save, import to MLV, and display the data. Once I get that down I can start worrying about interpretation.

In the "forum help page" link above, scroll down a little and it walks you through data logging

Are we looking at the same topic? I just read 6 pages and nowhere do I see any sort of instructions or tutorial on how to use the software.
I assume that since the only references on the MLV site are a sales pitch for MLVHD and a blank users manual that this is all top secret stuff.
I'll try a few direct questions.
When logging is started in TS what data fields are collected?
When I open MLV I get 2 dialog boxes, one says it cannot load the full log due to a size restriction on the basic software. If the log is bigger than what is allowed what is displayed? Is it the beginning, middle , end or some random snippet? The second tells me it cannot display the graph until I define the Y axis in the options menu. How do I select a Y axis based on a list of 3 letter abbreviations?
I would like to view RPM, AFR, trigger signal and MAP to start with. None of these are available on the pulldown menu. How do I select them?

Re: MegaLogViewer
The free version of MLV has something like a 500 record limit. The $30 registered version gives you unlimited length MS logs. The $40 MLVHD version gives you Histogram views and it will open several hundred other data log formats off almost any system ECU programmer like HPTuners.

Re: MegaLogViewer
MegaLogViewer MS has no size limit, HD does.
What type of manual are you looking for?
One on how to use MegaLogViewer or one on how to tune the car?
