4age, inj 1&4 firing, but not 2&3

Post by bryce_wsj »

Hi guys

DIYPNP 1.5b // Firmware: MS2 3.3.2

i'm trying to run sequential injection & spark. car will only run on wasted cop mode. it's only running on two cylinders.

injector 1 = 14v power, 13v signal
injector 2 = 14v power, .05v signal
injector 3 = 14v power, .05v signal
injector 4 = 14v power, .13v signal

all cylinders are getting spark.

any ideas?

i wired them up for batch firing

INJ 1 = 1&4
INJ 2 = 2&3

I changed Sequential Injection to Untimed.

same exact thing. no change. am i missing something???

It sounds like to me you have no power to 2 and 3. Have you used test mode to confirm that they work?
MS3+X on 73 Karmann Ghia ignition only with LS2 truck coils firing in sequential, fuel next.

You could also test light/volt meter/power probe to see that you're getting power to everything.

Getting power at both.

They all click and test out good when doing testing.

My mistake. all injectors are firing. my wideband will show 13ish with them all connected and warming up. as soon as i unplug one, it drops to 15, unplug another and it drops off the scale lean. so it's getting fuel from those two injectors but it has a dead miss on both cylinders. would spark be off? the car will only run in wasted COPs, but it is wired for sequential ignition & injection.

I think you've got sync issues, that short composite log looked a little odd. Can you post up a regular datalog?

i literally just got it running. it was all my fault. i had the firing order totally wrong.

i've officially learned that 1-3-4-2 is the cylinder numbers, NOT the ignition numbers.

i wired them correctly and it fired right up.
