IAT @ zero deg

Post by wilkrod »

Howdy all,

I have recently upgraded MS-I to MS-II. While trying to get the motor started I noted that IAt was at Zero degrees. I checked the sensor, and wiring and it was fine. Pulled out my MS and pluged in the Stim. it is either zero degrees, or like 1500 degrees depending on where I set the pot on the stim.

Is this a software problem with the MS=II code or have I just had a component failure in my MS-II.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Have you run the sensor calibration routine on the Tools menu?

Also, remember that the stim pot is not the same as the real sensor so is likely to have a different range of values.

RE: IAt zero degree reading

Howdy again,

I am using standard GM sensors, I have never had to calibrate them in the past,( other than TPS).

Is this new for MSII?

Thanks

You need to calibrate a bunch of stuff on the MS2 any time you reflash the firmware. It is fairly easy though, so just do them all to be sure.

Hi all,

I resolved the issue, loaded MS 2.6, and ini file, and now everything works as advertised.

Don't know why though which always bothers me.

Thanks for the suggestions.
