MS2, EDIS8, MAF wiring question

ok here goes i am running ms2 v3 board and have a pin problem running edis 8 ford pip on pin 24 and saw on 36 iam running mas air it says pin 20 and pin 24 witch is pip pin and 20 is iat pin is it ok to run this set up on the same pins any help will be apreciated

No, you cannot share the same pins. Where is this information coming from? Maybe there is a typing error?

came off ms site switched signal pin 24 to unused pin 31 and now i need to know if signal ground can go on ground pin 9 db37 and thanks for your input just look for mass air and it tells you the pins

go to mega manual open it up scrool down to ms 2 mass air

The key here is:
"The MicroSquirt code can be used on MegaSquirt-II, and thus MS-II can use a MAF."

So to use this feature you'd need to load the Microsquirt code onto your MS2 chip. I'd be wary of doing this if you have low-z injectors as the Microsquirt code might not support them as the hardware doesn't have the flyback and such to support them.

The base MS2 code didn't support MAF when we split off MS2/Extra (although there are stubs in the code to support it.)

so you say if i change to microsquirt file i can run mass air will that change the rest of my sensors like tps and fiddle valve and o2sensors and is it worth the hassle to venture in to this or just stay sd and i have high impediance injectors

All the other sensors should be ok.

It is up to you really - you might be better asking this question on www.msefi.com as that forum might better cater for this discussion.

If you are prepared for some experimentation you can save your existing settings and try it out.

thanks for all the info im going to try to run it with both mass and map as for my other post i still cant find the right wire but my oem ecm still powers the pump for 2 seconds to prime it
