Re: Low Z noise problems
from what I was told on the last page no a 35volt cap will not work as the circuit is clamped to 36 volts. Although I got better reading with the 35 over the currently installed 50volt .. Personally going back to the 100uf

Re: Low Z noise problems
It should ok. It would not work in the injector output, but you are installing on 12v rail. Which only has a few volts of noise on it.neverlift19 wrote:from what I was told on the last page no a 35volt cap will not work as the circuit is clamped to 36 volts. Re: Low Z noise problems
Also make sure you have enough ground wires from MegaSquirt to ground. In your setup, I'd run eight 20ga minimum.

Re: Low Z noise problems
Eight ground wires means use eight pins. One wire per pin.

Re: Low Z noise problems
There are 15 ground pins on the DB37 - #1-2, then 7-19. Pick any 8 from 7-19 for your system grounds, use #1 and/or 2 for your sensor return(s).
Temporarily shut down - back soon!

Yes, one wire for all sensor grounds is good.yellowlt1ta wrote:ok, can I use one of the pins for multiple sensor grounds?jsmcortina wrote:Eight ground wires means use eight pins. One wire per pin.

Capacitor photo looks fine.

Re: Low Z noise problems
well I have put a ms2 v3.57 on a turbo mustang and have tryed everything to clean all the noise up. and this is as close as I have gotten
Thing is that I try to clear the noise on my car but nothing works. everything is the same, except that I use low-z injectors.'93 Trans Am LT1 80mm turbo

Re: Low Z noise problems
Don't lift. More important to get sensor ground to standards.
