James,

In TS, within "Basic/Load Settings > Engine and Sequential Settings", it seems possible to change to order in which the Injectors are fired, or at least the order in which they are labelled so. Why will this not allow me to change the order in which MS fires them?

Hi James,

I am still having problems getting RPM. Havent looked at this for a while but will 'scope everythign this weekend and get it running on the bench.

As I said, I could only get the RPM reading using the 5v pullup on the JimStim. Can you explain to me again why i DONT need this pullup? And why do the Mazda guys need to use the pullup even thought the VR sensor outputs are similar to my system (Denso).

Why does the MS3 manual give instructions to add the pullup if it not required?
jsmcortina wrote:A VR input should not have that 1k pullup. Set the pots as per VR input. The stim doesn't output a real VR signal, so can sometimes require different settings.

Hi again,

OK, so now I have it working off the stim with the 2nd trigger fed up to the ms3x pin. Works ok up to around 3k then drops out. The only way I could get this to work was with the 12v pullups on both main and 2nd trigger.

The mistake i found was that the MS3 JS7 pullup for Hall Effect was in place as-shipped and I didnt notice it to remove it when I installed the MS3X. So now off to try it on the car again!

Just put "Daihatsu" in the search field.
There at least 2 Daihatsu 3 cillinders owners active.

Dual wheel, 24 base teeth, wheel speed is a cam wheel, and the second trigger is active on every cylinder.
