Re: MS3 Questions for use in Two-Stroke
"FIDLE This is the output for controlling an ON/OFF style FIdle or a PWM style IAC (usually found on Fords). You uses either a stepper type IAC, or a FIdle (on/off) or PWM style idle valve."
I've been looking into the MicroSquirt some more and just want to confirm that I could control a solenoid pump through the FIDLE control output and tune it via RPM vs. TPS?
Also an LS1/LS2 type ignition coil would solve the logic level only output from the ECU correct?

I believe the Boost Control function (open loop) can be persuaded to give the results you're after. And yes, the FIdle pin is one of the BC outputs.
LS1/LS2 coils will work, as will one of the various 4-pin COPs.

Re: MS3 Questions for use in Two-Stroke
I've got my bike up and running and have a couple questions. I'm using a Digatron display which reads out RPM along with a few other parameters. My Digatron displayed RPM and the RPM from my Microsquirt do not match up. I originally thought it was a calibration problem with the Digitron but believe now that it is a configuration problem with the Microsquirt. The Microsquirt is reading twice as many RPMs as it should be. Is there some where in Tuner Studio ms to correct this? I believe the problem has to do with the skip teeth input but I've not found an input for skip teeth in Tuner Studio, only in MegaTune. Could this be the problem or is it something else? Any help would be appreciated.

So... what type crank wheel did you end up fabricating? Tell us about that and post .msq and .msl files.
Re: MS3 Questions for use in Two-Stroke
Also are both MegaTune and Tuner studio needed to calibrate the ECU? I've found some features in MegaTune used to calibrate the trigger wheel that aren't in Tuner Studio.
Re: MS3 Questions for use in Two-Stroke
I fabbed up a 36-1 trigger wheel with a hall sensor.

I'm thinking I need to enable the single cam option in the dual spark table.

I've just loaded your MSQ and it is for MS2/BG, but this post is in the Megasquirt-3 section.
What hardware do you have?

Re: MS3 Questions for use in Two-Stroke
It's a microsquirt version 3.77. I think I posted here because at one time I was thinking of using the MS3. sorryjsmcortina wrote:Wrong manual for MS3.PVO22 wrote:I'm thinking I need to enable the single cam option in the dual spark table.
