Logic controlled waste spark 4 tower coil version if the IGN4
Would simplify things greatly for quite a few folks.
I know it is an actual thing, but absolutely nobody seems to have it for sale publicly.
What's the deal? Is there a secret handshake or something?

Re: IGN4a
Are you looking for a high energy coil or just a logic wasted spark coilpack?
If you want the latter, do a search on VW 106B

And... the latter is pretty much why nobody's got that coil pack you mentioned in the first post for sale. It appears this "logic level IGN-4" actually is a VW 106B, and getting it at a price where we can compete with parts stores on that thing isn't easy.

Ah, that makes sense, it's not _really_ like a logic driven hipo IGN1, the part# just makes it look like that.
Thanks to you both, it all becomes clear...

Just got back from a local junk yard. There were several Jettasand and Passats that would have come with a 106B, but all were missing.
What about the coil packs I see on Subaru engines?
