Lose of RPM indication.

Post by 107merc »

Finally getting around to setting up the MS2 I bought 18 months ago. Set everything up with the JimStim, all the pots worked fine in TS.
Thought the first thing I should do is upgrade to V3.3.2, which I did, and the RPM gauge and pot stopped working. Any info appreciated,
or should I post this on the MS2 Forum.

What wheel/pattern is the jim stim putting out? Have you configured the fresh firmware install to detect the appropriate wheel/pattern?
Find the Manuals up top under Quick links: Manuals. :RTFM:

The wheel decoder settings are the same as befor. I burned them and then did a power cycle. If I turn either RPM pot quickly,
I get a brief RPM registration then back to 0. The "not cranking" bar also flashes.

Re-adjust R52 & R56?

I think R56 wants to be ~6 turns in on the stim.

Thanks for your responses. Upgraded to 3.3.3 and everything works again. I'll take what I can get.
