Flex fuel sensor works on JS11, but not JS7
Hi there,
I just added a late model GM flex fuel sensor to my MS2 V3.0. I am running 3.4 firmware. It is a continental sensor from a late model malibu. Anyway I wired it accoring to the manual with a 10K pullup resistor to v5, and a 10k resistor to the ECU pin. The problem however is that I get no input from the sensor in tuner studio when I have the sensor hooked up to JS7 and that input selected. If I change to JS11 and select that pin in tuner studio it works fine. Any idea what the problem could be here? I have two spare ms2 daughter cards on hand and tried them both with no luck. Problem is I want to use JS11 for boost control and I'm already using all the other available outputs.

Have you modified the MS2 card as necessary to use JS7 ?

no I wasn't aware any modification was needed. I just did some searching and couldn't find any info on that. Can you point me to where I might find it?
I really appreciate your help!

Dang, I looked at the flex fuel page 15 times but didn't click to the next page to see that. I just installed the jumper and its working now, thank you for your help!

Easily done it seems. It's best to download the PDF versions.

Is the yellow wire (as shown in the manual) also necessary, or just the green wire? The manual isn't terribly clear on this point.
