What exactly have you lost?

If you have a running engine then the tune is still there and working in the Megasquirt and you can easily retrieve it.

Hi,
The engine won't run at all, I think what happened after
The computer was fixed I connected back up to MS
And it changed the base map and now won't run, and when I turn it over there no spark at the plugs.

Oh, that's unfortunate, sounds like you told TunerStudio to wipe out your tune.

Best to read the manuals starting with the Setting Up manual.

You might be able to find a a saved msq in your project folder.

Better to learn the settings than to trust another's msq.

Yes since you had a running setup you can start with a default msq and just adjust settings as needed for your system, auto tune will take care of the fuel table.

Hi

I did have it running before, the map was already set up
In the car, now it won't turn over, you think the default maps would be good enough to start with

The default tables will get it running, but you have to calibrate sensors set ReqFuel and other injector parameters. You also have to configure crank postion capture parameters and ignition output settings. It's not complex, just work on one area at a time. Read and print out the sections of the manual that apply to your setup and it tells you what settings to use. You can also use the ? in Tuner Studio for settings help.

This sort of mishap haunts my dreams so I have all my files backed up on two computers and the cloud.

If you have a wide band O2 installed you can use auto tune to get it dialed in better.

If the plugs are blackened use a propane torch to burn off the carbon.
