At the risk of sounding like a dick, you do realise the next newbie to come along will have no chance to benefit from your experience? If you had a mechanical fault, a procedural error, or something just plain didn't work, you obviously figured it out. Why not share the wisdom?

Far more is learned from mistakes than flawless perfection, and someone else's mistakes are far easier on your wallet than your own! :D
