I don't know exactly how the code deals with such fast transitions but what I meant is that the step is an artifact of the datalog and not what is actually sampled in the code.

But then how does timed MAP sampling ever make sense for anything except for motors that never rev anywhere near their "resonant" range?

What does "use event average" MAP sampling actually do?
whittlebeast: it doesn't matter how fast MAP is changing as long as we sample it just before calculating how much fuel to inject for each injection event.
Megasquirt is not for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Any advice I give is for off road use only.
