Hi Guys!
I'm trying to connect the idle valve to my ms2 3.57 but i'm a little bit lost..
is a 3 wire idle valve, 1 pin for +12v, 1 pin to open the valve and another to close it. How is supposed to connect this on the Ms2? in ms-extra hardware manual only found information about 2 wire idle
This is the idle valve: http://shop.bimmerbum.com/products/3-00 ... -1-744-713
Thanks in advance

Re: BMW M50 3 wire idle valve
you can tie the close pin to ground via a fairly hefty 40ohm 50w resistor, you can build a circuit to control both sides from one output if you do a forum search you should be able to find A schematic for this, or some bmw's used a 2 wire version of that valve.

Re: BMW M50 3 wire idle valve
Thanks, i'll search it and try.

Re: BMW M50 3 wire idle valve
Mine has been running fine with the 40ohm 50w resistor on the close side for a couple of years.
But building the proper circuit is the "preferred" method.

Thanks Hybrid, Does the resistor become too hot?
Apart from that, This is the circuit that recommends? i read in the forum that there ir another circuit from diyautotune but in every post the image was damaged
