If I were to add 2 ignition triggers on the camshaft, then I could feasibly run COP...?

One additional trigger. Yes.

I looked. From memory I think you need "Wasted Spark".
The datalogs look ok, there's no sync-loss during cranking which is good.

On 99-00 harleys there was a cam sensor, looks like it was a hall effect. The cam gear has a a ridge on it, about 202deg(cam time). would the use of this allow independent ignition controlls?
As to say, rising edge triggers 1st ignition event, falling edge triggers second ignition event. This would be very easy to set-up on this on this bike as the hardware is already manufactured to produce this signal.

with the cam timing that im running, i dont think waste spark will work. Im running 15* BTDC intake valve timing, so with the front CYL firing 30* BTDC and the 45* offset to the rear CYL, that would put my rear intake valve open 30*, when the #1 CYL fires, also firing the rear.

Am I Correct about that or am i missing something?

And any idea why the MAP is not showing up in the composite log?

Because the composite log doesn't show MAP.

Ive decided to go ahead and add the cam sensor and run it in tooth wheel with polled second trigger so i can run the coils independently.
When i get it running, Ill update the post.

Thanks to all the guys who have helped me to this point, and to those i will ask for help in the future.

"D14" ? There is no such output on a Microsquirt. Do you have the correct Microsquirt (cased) version of the current firmware loaded?

(quick check) Agreed - you're trying to drive pins that either aren't connected, or are set up for something else altogether. On the MicroSquirt, the processor pin that drives D14 on an MS2 card is actually the TACHO pin.

Take a look at the MS2/Extra .zip file you downloaded; there are four .s19 files for the different processor configurations. You need to flash your controller with the 'microsquirt.s19' file.

That seems to have made all the difference in the world.
When I received the unit it ms2/3.4.2 firmware on it. I didn't realize it needed reflashed with the microsquirt version.

It shouldn't have needed re-flashed. It should come with the Microsquirt code on it.
Where did you get the unit from?
Do not load someone elses tune and expect it to work for you!

How old is it?

Current Microsquirt won't let you load the wrong firmware.

Really interesting story here. I have been contemplating the same type of setup for my 01 Road King. I think you have pushed me in to my winter project. Which igniter/coil did you use? I am thinking of adding an igniter and using the stock coil, but I am intrigued with the idea of a possible upgrade. How is the bike running now?

I ended up using 2 GM LS truck coils and made a bracket to mount then in the factory location.
I absolutely love this ECM and software. There is a learning curve but is awesome once it's set up.

If I can't get my S&S VFI repaired this is definitely the way I will go. I think I will keep the stock coil and just add an igniter in the circuit inline in the wire harness. Are you using the free or paid version of TS and how did you come up with your base map? I really like the idea of the uS though. I can even add O2 sensors easily later and logging sounds like a great tool as well.
