Hi guys, I have many questions:
Ms2 v3
4cyl 1-3-4-2 order
I want to run semi sequential injection like wasted spark ignition,2 injection events per cycle at port.
What it's the best way?
4 squirt/alternate/untimed
Or
4 squirt/alternate/semi-sequential
Or
2 squirt/ simultaneous /semi-sequential ??
Semi sequential setting

Re: Semi sequential setting
All 3 are similar. But that last 2 are identical (semi-sequential overrides the simultaneous/alternative selection) and allow you to choose the injection timing.
So if you're willing to do a bit of experimentation, you can find what injection timing your engine prefers when you use semi-sequential. If you're not going to do so, any of the 3 will have similar results.

Re: Semi sequential setting
Ok! Jean, you said that last 2 are identical because allow to choose timing.
At 2 squirts / simultaneous / semi seq , the squirt event is every 360 degree exactly At tdc of 1-4 cyl?
I see that alternate is every 180 and could be more accurate. Am I right?
Thanks Jean.

Re: Semi sequential setting
When you select semi-sequential, you will get a squirt every 180 degrees regardless of the other parameters. As I said, the simultaneous and alternating parameters are ignored because each pulse is timed according to its own cylinder using the timing you entered. That is why the last two are identical; only the semi-sequential selection matters.
