2.3T ford microsquirt help needed

3.4.2 firmware
Microsquirt from diy auto tune
36.1 crank wheel
1.9 escort vr sensor .030 airgap
Ls2 coils
Wasted spark
Batch fire injectors
80lb deka injectors
Gm coolant, 4bar map,iat
Ford tps
I'm attatching my settings below
I can get it to hit and burble but acts out of time (backfire, slow start, etc)
I'm not sure I've got the ignition setup in tuner studio correct can you guys guide me along?

We do better with tune files and datalogs but I suspect your "seems out of time" comment is correct. The magic happens with the tooth #1 angle, read up on that and make certain the value of 85 is close.

Have you actually checked the timing with a timing light? If so, does it look right?

set that back to 3.

Why do you have the hei/dis option on.
Also show a diagram of how you have your LS coils wired.

Are you getting sync errors of any kind when cranking? Have you verified timing just while cranking, without fuel?

Dwell setting seems high to me as I have my D585 coils setup somewhere in the 3ms range for nominal dwell.

Set your dwell to standard instead of fixed duty. Then in the box bellow that set your dwell to 3.2 and spark duration to 1.0.
