Supercharger bypass valve

Post by evrard36 »

Hi
I'm setting up a megasquirt ms2 on mgb gt (fuel injection and ignition control).
I have some difficulties to tune the supercharger bypass valve.
I'm using an eaton M45 from mini, and i wish to managed the pressure with 3 wire bosch idle air control valve (i wire it with 40ohm 50w on the ground, same as the idle control valve), connected to boost control.
My supercharger is theoretically efficient from 1500 rpm and give me 7 psi around 2500 rpm.
On the boost control table, i can open the bypass valve from 0 to 1500 rpm (the supercharger don't produce enough pressure to be efficient before 1500 rpm) and close it after, but can i after that (from 1500 to 6000 rpm) managed it with map sensor to keep the pressure to 7 psi?
i have many difficulties to found the good way to drive the bypass valve, and in the several post about it, i can't found the right answer.
Thanks for your help,
