LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
OK guys, The gauge on my dash is reading fine. However the gauge shown on tuner studio doesn't move off of 11.8 I set the EGO to 0 authority. Also the algorithm is set to simple. would either of these be affecting the reading.
Re: LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
The LC-2 controller has 2 outputs, 1 feeds the gauge (if you have one), the other feeds the MS.
I know exactly what's wrong, many make the same error.
Where is the WB O2 connected? The Options Port? Or using the left or right NB O2 wiring?
I'll bet you didn't set this internal jumper.
Optional Configurations
Several jumpers are located on the lower, black circuit board inside the MSPNP. These are accessible by removing the top cover and are indicated as depicted below. However, these dictate the platform with which the MSPNP is design for. The only jumper that should be changed, if desired, is J6.
Default settings indicated in red.
Place a jumper between "O2 Sensor" and "J8-29" to connect the right bank OE O2 sensor the MSPNP. Likewise, connect the jumper between "O2 Sensor" and "J8-43" to connect the left bank OE O2 sensor.
What is missing from the instructions is:
If you are using the Options Port Pin-21 (Oxygen sensor input), remove jumper J6.

Re: LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
Man I was sure this had to be it. I just pulled it out and checked though and the jumper is in the right spot for the right bank line I am using. Crap. would it matter that I am using the brown wire for the LC-2 instead of the yellow wire?

Have you calibrated the AFR table to your setup via the tools menu?

Re: LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
I actually just had to change the values that the LC2 controller were using for the brown wire. I have it within about .2-.3 now much better. I will drive with this some and watch it all the way through the range and then adjust more if needed.

Is your LC sensor ground grounded to your MS sensor ground?
If not, you can get slightly different readings to a gauge.

Re: LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
If there is only one ground wire, do NOT connect it to the MS sensor ground. The O2 sensor heater will drown everything in noise. Only do this if your controller has a dedicated sensor ground wire separate from the high current heater ground.hybrid wrote:Is your LC sensor ground grounded to your MS sensor ground?

Re: LC-2 wideband on tunerstudio doesn't move
LC-2 is grounded directly to the battery. the signal wire is coming off of the RH-29 pin. I think everything is good here now, Onto the next problem!hybrid wrote:Is your LC sensor ground grounded to your MS sensor ground?
