Please Help Stumbles High RPM

Post by colinfb1 »

I'm absolutely baffled by this. At 4000 RPM and up, my car starts to stumble. I've got MS2 extra with Jenveys and EDIS. The ECU had been working reliably for nearly a decade. Strangely, if I have the ignition options set to "EDIS" its worse than if I set it to "basic trigger."

Here's everything I've tried:
New coil pack
Plugs
Plug Wires
TPS
Reset crank position sensor gap
Replaced MAP sensor

All with no luck. No matter what, I get stumbles at low loads at 4,000 RPM and up. Any suggestions? I've dying here.

When I look at the composite logger, trigger logger, tooth logger, everything looks great.

Sounds like hardware issue.

Year, make, model, engine options, type of plugs, plugs gap... etc?

Without an MSQ I am unable to provide any input beyond looking at the EDIS.

I will say that if you have an MS2 you don't need the EDIS.
Correctly identify your MS ecu here
Read the Do's and Don'ts to avoid the common pitfalls before starting your install or asking for help
Use only these manuals other manuals may cause brain damage or worse.
