How well does GM7X work?

Looking to use GM7X... but then I saw this in the hardware manual:
* indicates a configuration that has received less usage in the field and may be less well proven. Proceed with
caution or discuss with your supplier before using.
So, is it any good? Problems?

I have found it works best with a Maxx 9926 VR conditioner.
