Setting up for an EDIS, 6cyl, ignition and noticed the setup drawing on page 115 of the MS manual shows
pin 10 of the controller going to pin 1 of the coil pack, pin 11 to pin 2 and pin 12 to pin 3.
Ford wiring diagram I have shows pin 10 a Y/BK wire going to pin 3, pin 11, a Y/W wire going to pin 2
and pin 12, a Y/R wire going to pin 1. Have both the controller and the coil pack plug and the wiring is as Ford shows.
Am I missing something?? Is there a way to verify which coil pack pin is associated with which coil pair??
Did find out the coil pack with 4 mounting holes and the one with three use opposite pin counts.
One counts left to right the other right to left. Any info appreciated.
EDIS wiring conflict.
