What version of firmware are the latest MS2 boards ( 3.0 and 3.57 ) shipping with. 3.4.2 or 3.4.3?
I've encountered some issues with 3.4.3 ( Serial Signature comms 342c2 ) and the VE Table generator producing wildly different values than 3.42 ( Serial signature 3.42a2 ) with all of the same parameters inputted.
I'm beginning to wonder is the serial signature for 3.43 firmware is correct? ( 342c2 )
Current Firmware on new boards.

Re: Current Firmware on new boards.
New boards if they had firmware installed should be the current recommended firmware 3.4.2
3.4.3 is a beta firmware and not suitable for retail distribution.
I believe 3.4.3 was created in an effort to fix a certain issue, I don't recall if it was successful or should be used.

The VE table generator is a TunerStudio feature. The firmware version should have no effect on it whatsoever. Best to post about it in the TunerStudio sub-forum.

Re: Current Firmware on new boards.
There's a 3.4.3 firmware? I though MS2 development was basically done, with efforts being spent on MS3?

That's not a new development release but a maintenance release. The MS2/Extra code is still maintained so if bugs are found they will be corrected (as time and resources permit).Six_Shooter wrote:There's a 3.4.3 firmware? I though MS2 development was basically done, with efforts being spent on MS3?
