Hello, I am after some guidance to point me in the right direction please.
The car is a 1968 VW bug, I am trying to run fuel and ignition control. I have set up the TPS and temp sensors, I am running a 2 wire Bosch PWM idle valve, 4 injectors on batch fire and a dizzy with a Pertronix Ignitor kit. The MS loom was bought already made one.
I have checked the wiring set up for the Pertronix and setting several times but I am not getting even a splutter.
The timing is set to a base 10 degrees, the plugs and coil are new and when cranking I get a spark at the plugs and fuel but no firing. The valve timing is good and compression is ok and even on all cylinders.
I have followed the instructions on DIY autotune for the Pertronix set up.
I have tried the data log and I am not sure how good the crank signal is or if I am getting interference from somewhere.
I have attached my data log and tune so far ( not very far LOL )
I am feeling lost so any guidance would be great.
Thanks

Re: Help..non start ms2 v3 with pertronix
You say you're getting spark and fuel, but have you checked the timing?
Edit: also, if you want to check your tach signal (not crank since I assume you're using pertronix as the trigger, which is Dissy based, not crank), you need to do a tooth log. The data log doesn't show the tach signal.

Agreed make sure the commanded timing and actual agree and go from there

Ok sounds worth a look, I will get busy with the timing, thanks
