Hi, just wired in a Microsquirt V3 to my 1992 Kia Potentia 3.0 V6 DOHC (practically a 1990-1991 Mazda 929s in the US). This is my first experience with installing a programmable standalone ECU so still don't understand a lot of things even with several readings of the Microsquirt V3 guide.
It has spark. Used Timing light to verify 10-degrees advance, It has fuel. But it won't start. Am attaching .msq file here.
Crank trigger is the Nippondenso-style distributor with 24-teeth + 1 tooth wheel. Ignition still uses the standard distributor setup. Idle control is the standard 2-pin actuator. Injectors are the standard high-impedance that came with the car.
Thanks guys for your input!

Re: 1990 Mazda 929s Microquirt install - won't start
If it has spark at the right time and definitely has fuel, it should start.
Are you sure the spark is not happening on the wrong stroke?
You could try removing injector power and try some starter fluid in the intake to see if it fires.
