jimstim 2.0 bench test with optispark

Post by dwafford »

I'm building MS3/MS3X on a GM LT1 engine, using the Optispark for crank and cam position, fitted with LS1 COP. I can't seem to find 1) correct dip switch settings on the JimStim; 2) how to set jumpers - do I need a jumper wire from the 2nd trigger to a pin on the JimStimX, and if so, should it be to CAM or PT4, or is this connection accomplished with just the correct jumpers on the JimStim; 3) Spark Output setting: I found instructions that say to set it "Going High Inverted", but my ignition options table only shows "Going High" or "Going Low"; 4) should polarity on high res tach be inverted; 5) MAT pot is having no effect on TS gauge; could this be related to above? Many thanks for any help.

Does anyone have the answers to these questions? I have the same set of questions except the MAT pot.

Much appreciated

JimStim DIPswitch settings are listed here
http://jbperf.com/JimStim/JimStim_v2_0_ ... .html#mode
The OptiSpark is referred to as : "Mitsubishi 360 tooth CAS (8 cyl)"
