Stim w/ 6 coil waste spark setup possible?

Post by SiGmA_X »

Hey guys,

This may be a seriously newbie question, but I need to know if the standard stim board will work with a custom ignition setup, using the LED's to fire 6 coil drivers (2 off of each, waste spark). I have heard some people say yes and some say no, and I need to know if I can test my MS1v3 with it because I'm having some power issues. Also the IAC output pins from MS2 are being used for Glens Idle board as well as a tacho output circuit.

I hope I'm asking in the right place!

Thanks SO much guys,

Roman

What pins do the ignition outputs come out on?

They have their own harness. I have since used the stim and seen no problems, providing I have it set to use a distributor.

That's right; you'll either need Stim for Wheel or distributor settings.
