I built my MS with the slight changes needed to run an EEC-IV adapter board. One thing to note is that since the ignition pullup resistor is on the adapter board, it was omitted on the MS board itself.
What I want to know is, can I safely test ignition output on the Stim since the ignition pullup resistor is not installed on the MS board itself? Do I need to temporarily install a pullup resistor while I test spark? All of my other inputs and outputs test fine, but I havent jumpered spark from D14 to IGN yet.
Thanks

Hmmm. I jumpered the top D14 lead to IGN and now I get no RPM signal from the stim, and the IG light on the stim and D14 stay lit. I did just flash the MSnS code to the CPU, and I think it went. Any ideas? I set the codebase and outputs for spark just as the manual advises.
Ideas?
