My injector LEDs have stopped.

As above, but the injector/warmup/AE LEDs on the case still do their thing. The fuel pump stim LED works fine, as do all the pots...but those two little injector buggers stopped working. They did work last night, during testing, and then they just stopped. If the one on the case works, maybe they're just burned out?

Thoughts?

If this is stim testing, where is the TPS pot? Perhaps you are in flood-clear mode?

I did a quick test, but it acts the same way in or out of flood clear. My 9v battery is only reading 6v through MT...would that cause it? I'm not worried, the unit was a working one that I got in a trade for some rims, I've just never played with a stim before so I have been testing it out .

You may just need a new battery - the Megasquirt drains 9Vs pretty quickly.

Well...popped the lid on the box tonight after the USB converter stopped working too.

Lets just say...always check to make sure the socketed chip is solidly connected to the socket.

Works great now .

Any ideas how I can keep this from happening again?

NM...the builder of the unit (two owners ago) never pushed the chip all the way into the socket.
I wonder if that's why I have it now...too many issues and frustration for the previous owners.
