using megastim for other purposes

Post by thecrew2999 »

i got a ultrosonic cleaner and i wanted to clean a bunch of injectors and do flow bench testing and such and was wondering could i use my megastim to make the injectors pulse in order to get them clean and bench tested ?

i dont see why not but i dont know exactly how the stim works like if it actually acts like a injector and such or what

The stim itself does not have the required circuits to drive an injector.

The MS2/MS3 codes have an injector test mode built in that would suit your needs on a Megasquirt board.

kinda had that feeling, i knew it didnt have any injector drivers for either high or low impedance but before this i was using a 9 volt battery...

i dont wanna use the megasquirt for this and risk damaging it.
i didnt wanna have to build something to do this but looks like i dont have a choice..

thanks anyways
