JimStim Power Supply

Post by Bainzy »

Apologies if this is in the wrong board or it's been posted before.

I've found a 12v adapter from something else (external HDD) that seems to fit the bill for powering the Stim, it's 12v, correct size jack, correct terminal orientation.... except that it has current rated at 2A.

Is this too definitely going to be too much to power the Stim and board? If so, anyone in the UK found a cheap, suitable adapter from somewhere like ebay?

So long as the polarity is correct and it isn't putting out more that 18V when off-load that go ahead.
