Potentiometer Replacements

Post by T3Bunny »

I swear I had an old post about this... Maybe I had just contacted DiyAutotune directly though.

I am looking for sources on the short "original style" potentiometers supplied with the stimulators. These are the early ones Glen's Garage was supplying. Other than the physical size of the knob, there seem to be some other differences. I have never had a failure on any of the short ones. The long ones are looser, and seems every stim I have with them, now has one that has failed.

After digging through pages of Digi-Key catalog trying to figure out what filters to apply, I think this one is the right one to use? Problem is, they have a very limited stock of 4pcs... I need about 10-13pcs. Any other recommendations?

Hey, I can't speak to whether those are the right thing or not. But if they are, Mouser has 278 of them: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/BI- ... 1Xw5zopA==

Thanks Eric! Having a bit of trouble verifying the ones I posted up are correct... If so, then your find is perfect!

Okay, a couple more tries and I finally found the BOM for a Stimulator. Stimulator Pot There are some minor differences (the MS one has 300 degrees throw, the short one just 280), but it looks like the Mouser one will work to me!
